Mission
:
Quantum is currently seeking a highly qualified individual to provide support as a Network Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO at the Peterson Air Force Base. The candidate will provide network support to the defense research engineering network and other SMDC network systems.

Responsibilities
:

  • Perform scheduled IA compliance checks on using ACAS, SCAP(SCC), and STIG Viewer.
  • ACAS scan and remediate weekly
  • SCAP scan and remediate monthly
  • STIGviewer checklists update quarterly
  • Install configure and maintain layer 2 network devices (CISCO IOS, Dell DNOS, Palo Alto PAN-OS)
  • Install configure and maintain ASA 5500 series firewalls (firewall rules and VPN access, remote access and site to site)
  • Configure and maintain Network authentication (NPS service) and Network Access Control (802.1X)
  • Support PKI authentication on all the network devices
  • Configure and maintain Network Time Services(Symetricom).
  • Manage security compliance for all network appliances(SRGs and STIG).
  • Ensure proper audit logging of all network devices, syslog to SPLUNK
  • Configure and maintain the Cisco FirePower IDS modules
  • Configure and maintain non-windows network storage devices(NetApp, Dell EMC).
  • Install maintain and configure the vSphere suite to include vCenter server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
  • Configure AWS GovCloud services for use. May include compute, storage, and collaboration services.
  • May design implement tactical or exercise networks using radios or SATCOM devices.


Requirements
:
Travel: 10%.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education
:
Bachelor's Degree; appropriate experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Clearance
:
An active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret is required to do this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
